72 Reasonable act and acts thing and Things Devices and Conveyances and assurances in the Law whatsoever for the further assuring surety sure makeing setling and Conveying of the Land and negroe afd unto and upon the said Preregrine Browne his heirs & assignes forever be the same by mater of Record or not of Record as by as by the said Preregrine Browne his heires or assignes or his or there counc.ll Lear^n^ed in y.e Law shall be Reasonable Advised Devised or Required In Witness whereof the Ptyes ^first^ above named to these p.rsent Indentures interchangably There hand & seales have sett y.e Day & y.r first above Writen signed sealed and Delivered in presence of Jn.o Mackall John Easterling Heneritta Easterling James Mackall On the back of the said deed was thus Endorst viz.t Mem.d That the within written Indenture with the Lands & premises therein menconed was (before us John Mackall & James Mackall two of her Maj.tys Justices of the Peace for Calvert County) acknowledged by the within named John Easterling and Heneritta his wife and the said Heneritta his wife being by us secretly Examined out of the hearing of her said Husband doth declare that she doth make her acknowledgment of the same willingly & freely & without being Induced thereunto by fear or threats of or used by her husband of fear of his Displeasure Volantarily & freely give up all her right title Dower & Claim & demand whatsoever & both of them pray that this deed may be recorded wittness our hands this 7.th day of July 1711 Jn.o Mackall recorded Oct.r 15.th 1711 James Mackall 1228 The following deed of Gift recorded at y.e request of M.r Stephen Warman of Ann.ll County Know all men by these presents that I John Green of Roade River in the County of Annarundell in the province of Maryland Planter do from me my heires Ex.rs or assignes hereby freely give & bequeath unto Francis Watts a parcell of Land lying in Talbott County in Wye River in bread and Cheese harbour being one hundred and I do hereby pmisinge the peaceable enjoym.t thereof to him the said Francis Watts his heires or assignes for ever from me my Heires & assignes as wittness my hand this 19.th day of Aprill 1671 John Green (seale) signed seal.d & d.d in psence of us Francis Rockett his 138 Rich.d R Snowden mark recorded Oct.r 15.th 1711 |
