494 elsewhere in the said Province of Maryland which were given or devised by the Last will and Testament of the Said Robert Lockwood to the sonns of the said Thomas Lockwood deced & their heirs forever or which the said Thomas Lockwood party to the said Indentures & Daniell Muretell or either of them could might or ought to have or claim by or under the Will of the said Robert Lockwood deced or otherwise howsoever Together with all & singular lands grounds edifices buildings woods easements priviledges advantages & appurtenances whatsoever to the said Plantation or Plantations Estate & premisses thereby granted or intended to be granted belonging or in anywise appertaining To hold to the said Samuell Harrison his heirs & assignes forever as by the said severall recited Indentures of Lease & release relation being thereunto had may more fully & at Large appear Now know yee that wee the said Thomas Lockwood & Daniel Muretell for diverse good causes & considerations us hereunto especially moving have & each & either of us hath made ordained constituted & in our & each of our stead & place putt & Deputed And by these psents do ^&^ each & either of us doth make ordain constitute & in our & each of our stead & place putt & depute Collonell William Holland & Rich.d Harrison of the Province of Maryland Merchant our true & lawfull attorney & attorneys for us & in our names joyntly & severally to appear before any court in the said Province or before any of the justices of the said Province of Maryland & in our names according to the Laws of that Province made & Provided to acknowledge the said severall recited Indentures of Lease & release & wee do hereby give unto our said attorneys or either of them power to do in our names & act in the acknowledgement of the said Deeds according to the Laws aforesaid as fully & as amply as if wee our selves were there present hereby ratifying & confirming all & whatsoever our said attorneys or either of them shall Act and Do as aforesaid In Wittness whereof wee the said Thomas Lockwood & Daniel Muratell have hereunto sett our severall hands & seales this the second day of September Anno Dom 1717 And in the fourth year of the reign of our soveraign Lord King George over Great Brittaine &c.a his marke sealed and delivered (The Tho T L Lockwood (seale) paper being first treble stampt) In the presence of his Dan.ll Muratell (seale) John I Robinson mark Hannah Bullough (Burges) |
