       him the Originall Bill (a true copy whereof is above written word for
       word) and desired him to accept the same who denyed saying he had not any
       Effects of the Drawers in his hands to answer the said Bill Wherefore
       I the ^s.d^ Notary have protested even as I Doe now by these presents for non
       acceptance of the said bill and of exchange and exchange and all costs
       Damages and Interest Present and to come as well against Tho.s Leckonby
       Drawer or subscriber of the said Bill as against all others in the said
       exchange in anywise bound for to Recover the Same of them or of their
       Goods in time and place as of right shall appertain

x.d  To all to whom this present writing shall come Wee Thomas Lockwood of
       Abberford in the County of York Wheelwright only sonn & heir of Thomas
       Lockwood deced brother of Robert Lockwood late of Ann Arundell County in the
       province of Maryland Planter Deced and Daniel Muretell of Leeds in the
       County of York Gentleman send greeting Whereas by Indentures of Lease or
       & release the Lease bearing date the eighth & the release the ninth day of
       September which was in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred &
       fifteen made or mentioned to be made between us the said Thomas Lockwood
       & Daniel Muretell of the one part and Samuel Harrison of the Province
       of Maryland Planter of the other part Wee the Said Thomas Lockwood
       & Daniel Muretell for & in consideration of the sum of two hundred & fifteen
       pounds of Lawfull money of Great Brittaine in & by the said recited Indenture
       of release mentioned & expressed to be by the said Samuel Harrison to me the
       said Daniel Muretell & for other considerations in the said Indenture mentioned
       Did bargain sell & Demise grant release & confirm unto the said Samuel
       Harrison & his heirs all that Estate or parcell of Ground plantation and
       plantations with all edifices buildings and appurtenances whatsoever
       thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining scituate lying & being in
       the Province of Maryland on the Western Shore of the said Province & All
       other the Plantations or Estates of the said Thomas Lockwood & Daniel Muretell
       or either of them scituate lying and being on the said Western Shore or
