491 491 I do hereby acknowledge to have Received of my Brother in Law John Talbott bills of Exchange for the sum of one Hundred and sixty pounds sterling Money thereunto being in full for the purchase of the Plantation and all the Lands thereunto belonging which I now live on according to the sixth Paragraph of my late Husband Edw.d Talbott Last Will as p.r the same Recourse being thereunto had may and will more att Large Appear given under my hand this this third day of July Anno Dom one Thousand seven hundred and eighteen p me Elizabeth Talbott July the third 1718 Then Came before Us Two of his Lordships Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundell County Elizabeth Talbott Jun.r Widow and Executrix of Edward Talbott Late of this county Deceased and acknowledged that the above Receipt was Just and True and the Bills for the said sum and for the use therein expressed duely Recorded William Lock J.no Watkins The following endorsments are made on the back of a Mortgage from Edward Boteler & his wife to Charles Carroll Esq.r Recorded in this Book folio 210 Viz.t Mem.d That this 18.th day of July 1718 I have Received of M.r Thomas Lingan the Remaining part of the consideration as well of this Mortgage as of an additional Bill sale On the Back of which is a Receipt Also an assignment of this (&) |
