47) Carroll of the County and province af.d Gent of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Charles Rivers and Anne for and in Considera of the sum of eighty pounds twelve shill good and Lawfull Money of England to them in hand paid at and before the Ensealing and Delivery hereof by the said Charles Carroll the Receipt whereof they do hereby acknowledge and for Divers other good Causes and Consider.a them thereunto Moveing have given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Do give grant bargaine sell alien enfeoffe & Confirme which the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever all that tract or parcell of Land Called by the Name of Mascalls Adventure scituate Lying and being in Baltemore County Begining at a bound Ceeder standing on the south side of Patapsco River and on the south side of a Creek Called Patapsco Creek and Runing by the Line of Paul Dorrell south and by east two hundred sixty & five per to the s.d Dorrills boundd tree then west to a Creeke then bounding on the sd Creeke to the Turning up of the sd Creeke two hundred sixty and five per.s then down the said Patapsco Creek to the first bounded tree Cont.a and Laid out for one hundred and forty acres of Land more or Less as also that Peice parcell tract or Dividend of Land Called and known by the Name of Dorrells Inheritance Lying in Baltemore County afd and Begining at a marked Chesnutt tree standing by the side of Chesepeake bay and Runing north and by east forty pers to a marked Hiccory on a point then north North West sixty per.s to a marked Pine then north north east two hundred pers to a white oake marked with twelve Notches then north west & by north one hundred and Twenty per.s to a bound white oake by a Great Marsh then north east & by east fifty two per.s to a bound black Oake upon a small Island by the book in Point on the south side of Patapsco River then west & by north eighty per.s to a bound water oake standing on the mouth of Bodkin Creeke then up the Creek south south west twenty eight per.s to a marked oake then south west by west seventy two per.s to a marked Oake then south west south west one hundred and thirty per.s to a marked Hiccory then south west by west eighty per.s to a marked Red Oake then with a streight Line the first bound tree Cont.a and Laid out for three hundred acres of Land more or Less w.ch said two parcells of Land Containe four hundred and forty acres of Land and now are in the Tennure or Occupation of the said Charles Rivers and Anne his wife their or one of their undertenants or (assignes) |
