       On the back of the aforegoing conveyance is thus indorst (Viz.t)
       Signed Sealed & Delivered in the presence of us  Tho.s Worthington
       Thomas Buckinham      Memorand.m the ninth day of October
       1717 Came Jn.o Brice party to this deed and did acknowledge the
       same & the Land & pmisses w.thin menconed to the w.thin named
       Henry Wright his heirs & assignes for ever according to the form
       and effect of s.d deed & according to act of Assembly in that case
       made & provided before me the subscriber one of his Lordships
       Justices of the Prov.ll Court of the Province of Maryland

Carolina fs      This Indenture made the thirtieth day of
  x.d May Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and seventeen
       Between John Sanehill Late of Calvert County in the
       Province of Maryland (but now of Carolina af.d the son of
       Andrew Tanehill Late of the county & province af.d Deceased
       of the one part and Samuel Chew Jun.r of Annarundell County
       Merch.t of the other part Wittnesseth that for & in consideracon
       of the sume of one hundred pounds sterl money of Great
       Brittain to him the said John Tanehill in hand paid well
       and Truely by the said Samuel Chew jun.r at and before Ensealing
       and Delevery of these presents the receipt whereof he y.e s.d
       John Tanehill do hereby acknowledge and of all & every
       part thereof doe hereby Acquitt & Discharge him the said his
       heirs Ex.rs Adm.rs and Assignes have Granted Bargained Sold
       Aliened Enfeoffed released & confirmed and by these doth
       Grant bargained sell aliened release enfeoff and confirme
       unto the s.d Samuel Chew jun.r (in his actual possession
       now being by Virtue of one Indenture of Lease bearing
       date the thirtee^n^th day of May before the date of these psents
       and made between the said Jn.o Tanehill of the one
