       be construed deemed and adjudged to be and enured the only proper use
       benefit advantage and behoof of the s.d W.m his hiers heirs and assis for
       ever and to no other use intent or purpose whatsoever In Wittness w.rof

       Then Came the within Named Charles MacDaniel and Anne his wife
       and acknowledged the within deed according to act of assembly in such
       cases made and Provided the s.d Anne being privately examined who
       Gave her Consent thereunto to before one of his Lordships Justices
       of the prov.ll Court and Declared she did the same without any threats
       compulsion or coersion of her said Husband

x.d     This Indenture made this seventh day of
       Sept.r in the year of our Lord God One thousand seven hundred
       and seventeen Between Vivian Beck of Kent County in the province
       of Maryland on the Continent of America Planter of the one part
       and Charles Carroll of the City of Annapolis in the County of Ann Arrundle
       in the Province afd Esquire of the other part   Wittnesseth that the
       said Vivian Beck wo as well for and in Consid.n for the full sume
       of forty six pounds fifteen shillings and ten pence of Lawfull
       money of England in hand paid at and before the Ensealing and
       Delivery hereof the receipt whereof the s.d Vivian doth hereby
       acknowledge And doth therefore and hereby Give Grant Bargain
       Sell Alien Enfeoffe Release and Confirme to him the said Charles
