443 five hundred pounds then to remaine unpaid as also two hundred and Fifty pounds of the said Five hundred pounds and at or upon the twenty third day of March which shall be in the Year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and Twenty one the sume of Fifteen pounds Like mony being one years interest for the two hundred and Fifty pounds then remaining unpaid as also the said two hundred and fifty pounds it Selfe that then and on makeing the payments afd at y.e times afd the said Deed of Bargaine and Sale to be utterly Void and of none Effectt and the Inheritance of the Lands therein & hereby sold to the said Charles is to vest in the s.d Alexander Parran and his heirs and to Enure to his and there use any thing in the s.d deed to the Contrary in any wise notwithstanding as also the Good and Chattles in the s.d deed mentioned to be the right and property of the said Alexander And the s.d Charles doth Hereby for himselfe and his heirs Covenant promise Grant and Agree to and with the said Alexander and his heirs to remaine reconvey or otherwise Secure y.e premises unto him the said Alexander in such manner and forme as he the said Alexand.r or his Councill Learned in the Law shall Advise or Devise In Wittness Whereof the said Charles hath hereunto sett his hand and Affixed his seale the Twenty fourth day of March Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and sixteen Charles Carroll (Seale) Witt present Clem.t Brooke Jun.r Charles Adams On the Back of the aforegoing conveyance was thus Written To M.r Dan.ll Carroll of the City of Annapolis May the 4.th 1717 These are to Empower you for and in my name to acknowledge the w.thin Deed of Defiseience unto the within named Alex.a Parran Pursuant to act of assembly in that case made and pvided Cha Carroll (Seale) Test Clem.t Brooke Jun.r Charles Adams Acknowledged by the s.d Dan.ll Carroll pursuant to the above power of attry to him Directed this 4.th May 1717 Recorded Sept.r y.e 23.d 1717 Sam.l Young To all Christiein people to whome this present writeing shall come I Henry Wharton of Charles County in the Province of Maryland planter send Greeting Know Yee that I the said Henry Wharton have received and had this present day of the date hereof of Jonathan Forward Merch.t (in) |
