x.d                  Know all men by these presents that I To.m Moore of the
       Towne of S.t Michael in y.e Island ^af.d^ Merchant Have made Ordained
       Constituted and appointed & by these presents Do make Ordain Constitute
       and appoint James Kemp of accomac County in Virginia merchant
       my true & Lawfull attorney for me & in my name & to my use to ask
       demand sue for recover & receive of & from all & every person & psons
       whatsoever All & every sume & sums of money good wares and
       merchandizes & effects w.tsoever as now are or at any time hereafter may
       be due owing appertaining or any wise belonging to me from any pson
       or persons w.tsoever in Virginia af.d or in y.e province of Maryland & any
       accompt or accompts touching y.e prmisses to settle & adjust and any
       Rec.rs releases or other discharges touching the same p.rmisses to make
       and execute and for me and in my name to appear plead sue
       prosecute & defend in all Courts Causes and Cases in touching & concerning
       y.e p.rmisses af.d and one or more attorney or attorneys under him in the
       p.rmisses to make & again at pleasure to revock and finally for me and
       in my name to do any act matter or thing w.tsoever necessary or convenient
