431 or Required for the better assurance surety and sure making over unto the said Amos his heires or assignes all and singular the aforesaid half of a Tract of Land or unto any part or parcell thereof In Wittness whereof the said partys have hereunto sett to interchangably their hands and seals the day and year aforesaid signed sealed and Delivered in presence of us Jn.o Brown (seale) Jn.o Young Carpender Earle Joseph Young On the back of the forgoeing Deed was thus endorst viz.t Annapolis Maryland 18 Aprill 1717 Then received of the within named Amos Garrett the Quantity of Three Thousand pounds of Tobacco being the consideration for the within purchased Land &c.a Wittness my hand and seal Jn.o Brown (seale) Wittness Jn.o Young Carpender Earle Joseph Young Annapolis Maryland 18 Aprill 1717 Then Came the within Mentioned John Brown before me Richard Tilghman Esq.r one of his Lordships Justices of the provinciall Court and acknowledged the within Deed and the Land &c.a therein Mentioned to be the right of the within named Amos Garrett his heires and assignes for ever according to act of assembly in that case made and provided R.d Tilghman Recorded July y.e 8.th 1717 x.d This Indenture made the 15.th day of 8 sd Aprill In One Thousand seven hundred and seventeen Between Thomas Welch of Baltemo.r County of y.e one parte and John Orrick of Anarundle County of the other parte Wittnesseth that the said Thomas Welch for and in consideration of the full sume of Twenty five pounds sterling Money to him in hand already paid and Delivered by him the said John Orrick before the ensealing and Delivery hereof wherewith the said Thomas Welch Doth acknowledge himselfe to be fully satisfied contented (and) |
