       and Marg.t his wife have hereunto set their hands & seales the day &
       yeare first above written

       Memorandum that this day (Viz.t) the 29.th day of May Annoq
       Dom 1711 Came before us James Bowles and Adam Bell two of her Maj.tys
       Justices of the peace for S.t Maries County Marg.t Butler wife wife of
       the within menconed Cæcilius Butler and being by us secretly
       examined did acknowledge that she Gave her free and Volantary
       Consent to the Grant of the within Menconed premises w.thout the
       Least fear threat or Compulsion w.tsoever of her said Husband Given
       under our hands the day and year above written

                               By this Publick Instrum.t of Procuration or
       Letter of attorney Be it known and manifest unto all those
       who shall see these presents or hear the same Read that on
       the 15.th Day of ^the Month of^ June Anno Dom 1702 in the first year of the Reigne
       of our Sovereigne Lady Anne by the Grace of God of England
       Scotland France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith &c before
       me James Puckle Notary and Tabelion Publick Dwelling in
       London by Royall authority admitted and sworne and in the
       presents of the wittneses hereafter named Personally
       appeared Mess.rs Micajah Perry Thomas Lane and Rich.d
       Perry of London Merch.ts who Declared to have made ordained
       and Constituted and by these presents do make ordaine and Constitute
       Charles Carroll of Maryland Gentleman their true and Lawfull
       Giveing and by these granting unto their said attorney
       full Power and Lawfull authority for them the said
       Constituants in their name and to their use to ask Demand sue
