394 [illegible] release unto the said Amos Garrett all manner of Right property or advantage that he the said John had conveyed to him of the estate of his Late Father by Vertue of thee Deed from his Brother Thomas aforesaid with all manner of interest property right Benefitt or Advantage by any way or means that himselfe the said John or heirs or any of them now have or hereafter may have to any equity of redemption of the afd conveyed Land and premises unto him the said Amos his heirs and assignes forever this Deed to remaine continue & be absolute to all intents and purposes fully to settle and vest in the said Amos Garrett his heirs and Assignes forever an absolute indefeazable Estate of Inheritance in fee Simple in and to y.e afd eleven tracts of Land and premises In Wittness whereof the said Partys have hereunto interchangeable sett to their hands and seales affixed their seales the day and Year on the other Side above Written the upper half ^or^ Moyety of Ranters Ridge is excepted out of the above Lands Signed Sealed and Delivered John Brown (Seale) in presence of us Carpender Earle Thomas Andrews Thomas Williams Annapolis Maryland 8.th Aug.t 1716 Then Came [illegible] John Brown before me Richard Tilghman of one ^of^ his Lordships Justices of the Prov.ll Court of Maryland and acknowledged this deed and the eleven Tracts of Land to be the Right of the within named Amos Garrett his heirs and assignes forever according to act of assembly in that case made & provided R.d Tilghman Annapolis Maryland 8.th Aug.t 1716 Then reced of Amos Garrett the sume of eighty pounds currant mony and the said Amos relinquishes his claime to three Negroes to the uses in y.e afd deed menconed and is the consideration for making over the above eleven tracts of Land as Wittness my hand & seale John Brown (seale) Wittness Carpender Earle Thomas Andrew Thomas Williams Recorded Aug.t y.e 24.th 1716 |
