                   To all to whome these presents shall come Greeting

       Know Yee that whereas Henry Murray haveing been concerned
       and taken in the late Rebellion against his Maj.ty in Lancasture in
       Great Brittaine and submitted to his royall pleasure Whereupon
       his Maj.ty by the right hon.ble James Stanhope Esq one of his principall
       secretaries of state has signifyed to me his Royall will and
       Pleasure that the said Henry Murray now Transported into this
Jo Hart   Province in the Ship Friendship of Belfast whereof Michael Mankin
  seale     is commander at the charge and expence of Mess.rs William Greenway
       and Company is to serve abide and continue in this province as a
       servant for and dureing the full space and Term of seven years
       and not for any Lesser Term or Space of Time And now Whereas
       W.m Holland Esq of Ann Arundell County has Purchased the said
       Henry Murray of M.r Thomas Lewis Chief Factor and Agent for
       the said Mess.rs Greenway and Comp.a for Valuable Consideration
       It is his majestys pleasure and order [illegible] unto me as afd that
       the said Henry Murray shall serve [illegible] Holland Esq who
       has so purchased him as afd for and Dureing the term and space
       of time as afd Given at the City of Annapolis under my hand and
       seale this 25.th day of Aug.t in y.e 3.d year of the reigne of our sovn
       Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland
       &c.a Annoq Dom 1716
