       Charles Carroll of our said province of Maryland Esq Have made
       constituted ordained authorized and appointed and by these presents
       wee do make constitute ordain authorize and appoint him the said
       Charles Carroll to be our Chief Agent Escheator Navall Officer and
       Receiver Generall of all our Rents Arrears of Rents Fine Forfeitures
       Tobaccoes or Moneys for Land warr.ts of all ferrys waifes strays
       and Deodands of all Dutyes ariseing from or growing due upon
       exportation of Tobacco afd Tunnage of ships and all other Moneys
       Tobaccoes or other effects in any Mannor or Wayes now due or
       hereafter to grow due whether by protested bills of exchange or
       otherwise to us within the s.d Province Hereby Granting to the
       said Charles Carroll full power and authority to sell and dispose
       of all Lands Tenements or hereditaments to us now escheated or
       hereafter to be escheated or Forfeited to such person or persons as
       shall Agree and pay for them such reasonable Rates in Money
       as shall be agreed for   Also to Inspect into order manage and
       account for all and every other Branch or Branches of our
       Revenue within our said province whether the same be or grow
       due by Particular Contract Cond.ns of Plantations Act or
       Acts of Assembly or by virtue of our Royalties Rights Priviledges
       and prorogatives within the said province and for the better and
       more effectuall execution of the said powers and authorities hereby
       granted Wee do further authorize him to empower constitute
       and appoint under him such and so Many officers and Dep.tys
       as shall be requisite and has been Usuall heretofore in like cases
       Hereby ordering and requireing him the said Charles Carroll
       to remit unto us for our proper use by the first and safest
       opportunitys and conveniencys all such Moneys Effects and
       Bills of Exchange as shall arise grow due and be received by
       him and his Dep.tys or under officers on all or any the afd
       Branches of our Revenue and upon receipt of any Money
       Bills of Exchange or Other Effects Suff.t Discharges and
       Acquitances to give and signe to the person or persons
