376 December the 17.th day 1715 Memd that the same day came ^Benj.a^ Bej.a Mackall before us two of his Maj.tys Justices of Calv.t County and acknowledges the within indenture to be his act & deed and desires the same may be recorded James Mackall Tho Holdsworth Recorded June y.e 16.th 1716 In the name of God Amen the Nine and twentyeth day of May July in the thirteenth year of the reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anne by the Grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith &c.a and in the year of our Lord One thousand seven hundred and fourteen I Charles Lord Baltemore of the Kingdom of Ireland being in perfect good health and of sound disposeing mind and memory praised be God for the same yet considering the uncertainties of this Life and being minded to settle my worldly affairs and to make some provision for the Lady Marg.t Baltemore my Affectionate Wife who is daughter of Thomas Charlton of Hexham in the county of Northumberland Gentl to support her in the Quality of my wife do make this my Last Will and Testam.t in Manner following First I recommend my soul to the Mercy of God my body to the Earth to be decently but privately buried as my ex.rx hereinafter named shall think fitt Item Whereas by bill of Sale bearing date the Ninth day of December last past before the date hereof for the Consid.ns therein Menconed I have given and Granted to Thomas Vernon W.m Carlton and Nath.l Piggot all my plate (and) |
