373 x.d This Indenture made this seventeenth day of Decemb.r Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and fifteen Between Benjamin Mackall of Calv.t County in the Pvince of Maryland Gent of y.e one parte and Thomas Corne of the county and Pvince ^afd^ Chyrurgeon of the other parte Wittnesseth that the said Benj.a Mackall for and in consideration of y.e sume of three hund.d pounds Sterl money of great Brittaine to him in hand paid by the s.d Thomas Corne before the sealeing and Delivery hereof the receipt he doth hereby acknowledge and himselfe therw.th fully satisfyed contented and paid and thereof and of every p.t and Parcell thereof doth acquit exonerate release and discharge the said Tho.s Corne his heirs ex.rs and adm.rs and every of them by these presents for ever Have given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released and confirmed and by these presents doth give grant bargain sell alien enfeoffe release and confirm unto the s.d Thomas Corne his heirs and assignes for ever all those tracts or parcells of Land that the s.d Benj.a Mackall is not now Possessed of (Viz.t) All that tract or parcell of Land scituate Lying and being in Calv.t County on the Clifts of Chesepeak bay Begining at a bounded Gum at the mouth of a Swamp adjoyning to the Land of a Certain Stephen Benson by the side of the s.d bay of Chesepeak and runing down the s.d bay to the Divisionall Line formerly run out between a cert.a Thomas Sterling and Patrick Allen bounded on the South by a line drawn West Parelell to the Line in the Pat.t to the head Line of the s.d five hundred Acres of Land bounding on the west and runing according to the Pat.t to the Land of Step.n Benson and w.th the said Land to the first bounded tree containing by estimation two hundred and fifty acres of Land Also all that Tract or Parcell of Land Lying on the North side of the freshes of Patuxent River which was taken up and Pattened in the name of a cert.a Ric.d Hall which was conveyed by Elisha Hall son of the said Rich.d Hall to a cert.a W.m Head being part of a tract of Land cont.a one hundred & ninety six acres called and known by the name of Additional Spittle lying in the woods on the North side of the s.d freshes of Patux.t River upon the branches of Coxes Creek Begining at a bounded poplar it being the south east corner tree of a Parcell of Land then in the Poss.n of a cert.a W.m Wadsworth called Timberwell and runing w.th the s.d Land South West two hundred and forty p.s till it Intersect the North Line of the Land which was then in the Possess.n of a cert.a John Creycroft called Newington thence runing with the said Land One hundred and seventy p.s till it Intersect the West Line of the Land of the afd Hall called Spittle and runing with the said Land north one hundred and six perches and thence continueing North to the first bounded tree containing and surveyed for (Ninety) |
