356 all other acts usually done by the former secretarys of the province afd And I do hereby further impower you or your said Dep.ty to take to your selves the advantage of Granting ordinary Licences in the said province which did heretofore belong to the said office of secretary And to Receive all such other perquisites fees and advantages whatsoever to the said office of secretary belonging or in any wise appertaining in as full and ample manner as any person or persons heretofore have held or enjoyed or ought to have held and enjoyed the same And I do hereby Repeale make null and voyd all former commissions for the said office Given under the hands and seals of the said Lord Baltemore and Lord Guilford in London this Thirtyeth day of May in the first year of our Sovereigne Lord King George &c.a And the first year of our Dominion of the said province Annoq Domini One thousand seven hundred and fifteen Baltemore (Seale) Guilford (Seale) Whereas by a commission granted by Charles Lord Baltemore proprietor of the province of Maryland and Francis Lord Guilford his Guard.n for executeing the office of secretary of the said province joyntly or by our sufficient Deputy and authorizeing and empowering us or our said Deputy to be present at all meetings of the Governour and Councill and of the assemblys in that province and to keep an Exact Register of all their acts proceedings and orders and to do and perform all other acts usually done by the former secretarys there And to take to our selves the advantage of Granting ordinary Licences within the said province and to receive all such other requisites fees and (advantages) |
