       Demand of in and unto the within mentioned Pmises unto
       the within named John Hyde his heirs and assignes
       forever according to the True Intent and meaing of the
       within written Indenture                        W.m Holland

       July the 23.d 1715  Then reced of M.r Thomas Tongue
       on behalfe of M.r John ^Hyde^ within Mentioned y.e sume of
       two pounds six shill.s sterl for alienation fine of the
       within eleven hundred and fifty acres of land called y.e
       groves I say reced by ord.r of his Lpps Agent

Ex.d     This Indenture mad the one and Twenteth
       day of June in the Year of our Lord one thousand seven
       hundred and Fifteen   Between John Talbot of the
       County of Annard.ll in the province of Maryland of the one
       parte and Henry Hall of the said County and province of
       the other parte Wittnesseth that whereas Charles Lord
       proprietor of the said province by his Lett.rs pattents under
       his greater seale at Armes bearing the thirteenth day of
       August Anno 1714 for the consideration therein mentioned
       did Grant unto John Talbott afd and to Elizabeth son
       and Daughter of Edward Talbot Sen.r late of the said Co.ty
       Deceased all that Tract or parcell of land called Talbots
       Resolution manner Lying in the woods in a Ride called
       Elk Beginning at a bounded white oake and Hiccory &
       runing south west eighty two perches to a bound Red
       oak and Chestnutt then north west four hundred thirty
       six perches to a bounded oake then south west three
       hundred eighty one perches to a bounded ^white oake then south east 320 p.s to a bounded^ poplar still
