       Being thereunto had more fully and at large it doth and may
       appeare  And Whereas by Indenture bearing date the
       fourth day of March in the Year of our Lord God one thousand
       seven hundred and nine made or mentioned to be made
       between Richard and Jacob Scalling and John Forgossen
       of Calvert County planter and ^Mary^ Marsha and Eliz.a their
       wives the Daughters ^and heirs^ of one Henry Kent late of the said
       County Deceased of y.e one parte and the afd Richard
       Johns of the other parte they the said Richard & Jacob
       Stalling and John Forgosson and Mary Martha & Eliz.a
       their wives for the consideration therein menconed did
       grant bargain and sell unto the said Richard Johns
       his heirs and assignes all that one Moyety or halfe
       parte of a Tract or parcell of land called Rattlesnake
       hill Lying and being in Calvert County afd in the
       woods orriginally granted to one Thomas Jones Begining
       at a bounded red oake in the line of a parcell of land
       formerly laid out for M.r Richard Bennett and then in y.e
       possession of Francis Mauldin and Runing north one
       hundred and twenty perches to a bounded white oake near
       a parcell of land of Nicholas Carr called Mill Runn
       then Runing west by the said land two hundred and sixty
       six perches then south untill it Intersects a west line
       drawn from the first bounded tree conta and laid out
       for two hundred acres more or less which said Tract of
       land was sold by the said Thomas Jones unto the afd Henry
       Kent and Rob.t Spickernill and by them Divided according
       to certaine meets and Bounds the west part to s.d Spickernell
       and the east part to said Kent and is the parte now sold
       to said Richard Johns Conta one hundred acres more
       or less Togeather with all Rights proffitts and Benefitts
       thereunto belonging To have and to hold y.e said
       Bargained land and premises unto y.e said Richard Johns his
       heirs ex.rs adm.rs and assignes for ever as in and by the said
