305 x.d Maryland fs This Indenture made the Nineteenth day of March in the first year of the reigne of our sovereigne Lord George by the grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland King defender of the faith & Annoq Dom one thousand seven hundred and fourteen Between James Sanders of Ann arundell County in the province of Maryland Gentl of the one part and Sam.l Young of the same County and province Esq.r of the other part Wittnesseth that w.ras the right hon.ble Cecelius Late lord and propry of the said province of Maryland by his patent under his great seale of the said province bearing date the Twentyeth day of Feb.ry Anno Dom sixteen hundred and fifty nine for the consideration therein menconed did grant unto his Brother Phiilip Calvert Esq.r deceased a certain tract of land lying on the west side of Chesepeak bay on the south branch of a river in the said bay called the North East river now called Back river and on the north east side of the said branch Beginning at a marked pine tree standing in a bay by a marshey site runing east south east down the river for breadth three hundred and fifty p.s to a marked Mulberry tree standing on a low point of march bounding on the east by a line drawn north and by east from the said Mulberry for Length three hundred and fifty p.s on the north by a line drawn west north west from the end of the said north and by east line for breadth three hundred and fifty perches on the west by a line drawn south and by west from the end of the west north west line unto the first Marked Pine on the south by the said river containing seven hundred acres of land to hold to him the said Phillip his heirs and assignes for ever in and by which said patent the said lord propry errected the said land and premises into a Manner by the Name of Wisk as p pattent thereof remaining on record in the land office in this province relacon being thereto had it doth and may more fully and at large appear Afterwards to witt the second day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand six hundred and sixty four the said Phillip Calvert and Anne his wife by their fine and concord for the consid.n therein menconed did convey and acknowledge the afd Mannor of Land and appurtenances to be the right of one Mathias Decosta deced late of Baltemore County to hold to him & his heirs for ever as in and by the said concord remaining on record in the prov.l Court relation being thereunto had it doth and may more fully and at Large appear And After the death of the s.d (Matthias) |
