30 or by any Other Lawfull way or meanes whatsoever by the said Charles Carroll his executors adm.rs or assignes or any his or their Councill Learned in the Law shall bee Reasonably devised advised or required In Wittness whereof the said Thomas Hardesty hath hereunto set his hand and seale the day & yeare first above written Anno 1710 Thomas T Hardesty signum on the back of the aforegoing deed was thus endorsed Viz.t Signed Sealed & Delivered in the psence of Memorandum that the within George Parker Jn.o Smith written Indenture w.th the Lands and premises Henry Cox therein Menconed was acknowledged by the said Thomas Hardesty to be the Right of the said Charles Carroll his heires and assignes for ever also att the same time Came Marg.t Hardesty wife of the said Thomas Hardesty who being privately and out of the hearing of her said husband examined did confess that she vollantaryly and of her owne accord without any fear threats or Displeasure of her s.d Husband gave up all her Right title Dowry Claime and Demand whatsoever and we vested the same might be be inrowles in her Majtys Court of Record of Calv.t County Court In Testimony whereof we two of her Maj.tys Justices of the peace for y.e said County have hereunto subscribed our Names this 9.th Day of Dec.r 1710 Geo Parker Jn.o Smith 2592 On The back side of a certaine Deed made Between Robert Mitchell of the City of London in the Kingdome of England Gent of the one parte and Lewis Duvall and Martha his wife of Ann Arundell County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the other parte was thus Written viz.t Whereas The within named Lewis Duvall has upon the Ninth Day of May in the yeare of our Lord 1709 Drawn a Lott of bills of exch.a payable to the within named Robert Mitchell for the sume of one hundred and ninty pounds ster in parte satisfaction of the principall and Interest Due on the within Morgage and that the said bills are now Come back protested whereby the said one hundred and ninty pounds with the Damages and Charges Thereon amounts to the sume of two hundred Twenty Eight pounds three shillings and nine pence which together (with) |
