       and sold or Intended to be hereby Bargained & sold w.thout
       any Lett Suite Molestation Interruption or hindrance of
       him y.e said John Medcalfe his heirs or Assignes or of
       any other pson or psons whatsoever And Lastly the
       said John Medcalfe doth for himselfe his heirs executors
       and adm.rs covenant and agree to & with the said Henry
       Hall his heirs & assignes that he y.e said John Medcalfe his
       heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs shall and will warrant & forever defend
       all the above s.d ^bargained^ lands and premises with their and every of
       their appurtences unto y.e above named Henry Hall his
       his heirs and assignes forever ag.t y.e claime of any p.rson
       or persons whatsoever and cleare & ^free^ of and from all
       Incumbrances Whatsoever except only what is hereby
       before expresed excepted In wittness whereof y.e parties
       first above mentioned to these p.rsents hath hereunto sett
       his hand and Seale y.e day and year first above written

          On The Back of the aforegoing deed was thus endorst Viz.t

       Memorandum That y.e w.thin written Indenture with
       y.e Lands and p.rmises therein menconed was before me the
       Ninth day of Fe.rry 1714 one of Her Majesties Justices of
       the prov.ll Court of Maryland acknowledged by the within
       menconed John Medcalfe to be his act & deed and to be right of
       the said Henry Hall his heirs and assignes forever and att the
       Same Time Came Lydia y.e wife of the said John who did freely
       & voluntarily Give Upp her Right & Title to y.e said Land
       pursuant to an act of Assembly in that Case made p.rvided
       In Testimony of which I have subscribed my name the day
       & year abovsaid                                 W.m Holland

       March y.e 3.d 1714  Then Received of
       the Rever.d Henry Hall y.e sume of seven shill and two pence
       halfe penny sterl being for y.e alienation fine of y.e w.thin Land
