288 Confirmed and by these p.rsents Doth for himselfe and his heirs Give Grant bargaine sell Alien Enffeoffe & Confirme unto him the said John Dorsey his heirs & assignes forever All that Tract or parcell of Land Granted to y.e s.d Mordecai Moore the Tenth day of Novemb.r one thousand six hundred Ninety & five Called Moores Morning Choice Lying at Elk Ridge formerly in Ann Arundell County but now in Baltemore County Beginning at a bound sicamore Tree by the maine branch of Potapsco River it being a bound ^tree^ of Edw.d Talbott and running with the said Talbotts line southwest by south two hundred and seventy four perches to a bound White oake then south east by south Ninety eight perches to a bound red oake then East by North fifty four perches to a bound red oake then south by west one hundred forty one p.s to a bound red oake then South South East one hundred & four perches to a bound white Oake then South East Eighty four and by East fifty three perches to a bound white Oake then south Seventy Nine Degrees East one hundred and thirty perches to a bound red oake then north east one hundred and six then east Eighty four perches to a bound hiccory then east south east Ninety perches to a bound white Oake then south seventy Nine then East North East sixty six perches to a bound red oake then north east two hundred & sixty six perches then by a streight Line to the first bounder Conta and then laid out for thirteen hundred sixty acres of land more or Less Togeather with all and singular the appurtenances thereunto belonging To have and to hold the afd thirteen hundred sixty eight acres of land with the appurtenances thereunto belonging unto him the s.d John Dorsey his heirs and assignes forever to the only proper use & behoofe of him the said John Dorsey his heirs & assignes forever And to noe other use Intent or purpose whatsoever and the said Mordecai Moore doth hereby for himselfe his heirs Ex.rs & Adm.rs Covenant and grant to and with the said John Dorsey his heirs and Assignes that he the said Mordecai Moore the Bargained p.rmises with the ap.rtenance unto the said John Dorsey his heirs and Assignes shall & will warr.t and for ever defend ag.t him the said Mordecai Moore his heirs & Assignes ^or any other former claiming any right estate or title thereto by from or under the s.d Mord.a Moore his heirs and assignes for ever^ (except a certaine Rich.d Owen) And y.e same Mordecai doth hereby coven.t to & with the said John Dorsey his heirs & assignes that he the said Mordecai Moore and his heirs shall will at any Time forever hereafter at the reasonable Reasonable Request Costs & Charges in the Law of the same John Dorsey his heirs and Assignes make do p.rforme and execute any other further deed or deeds Act or Acts whatsoever for the bett.r Assureance surety & sure makeing the afd p.rmises with the app.rtenances unto the same John Dorsey his heirs and Assignes with the warranty afd as the Councill Learned in the Law of the same John Dorsey his heirs & Assignes shall or will reasonably advise ^or^ devise In Wittness whereof the p.rties to these p.rsents above named have hereunto interchangeably sett their hands and affixed their seales y.e day and year first above Written M Moore (seale) Sealed and Delivered in p.rsence of Samuel Young Samuel Glover Moses Adney Sarah Young (Joseph) |
