24 Examined pursuant to an Act of Assembly of the pvince before me recorded Nov.r 25.th 1710 Phile Lloyd Just pvin 105) 1184 (1) 134 29 This Indenture made the second day of Nov.r Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and ten Between Henry Ward of the County of Cecill and province of Maryland Gent of the one part and Edward Parrish of the County of Ann arundell and province afd Cooper of the other part Witnesseth that whereas Henry Ward late of Cæcill County deced father of the aboves.d Henry had the twenty second of September Anno Dom one thousand six hundred & fifty eight surveyed for him a tract of Land Called Mountserado in the County of Baltemore upon the west side of Susquehana River begining at a marked Chesnutt Oak standing on the side of a hill and runing from the said Tree up the River North two hundred and seventy five perches to a marked Birtch tree standing on a point and from the said Birtch west unto the woods three hundred and twenty perches bounded on the west by a Line draw south south east two hund.d and seventy five perches bounded on the south south east by a Line drawne east to the first marked oake cont.a and Laid out for five hundred and fifty acres and patt.t thereupon Granted him in Common forme relation being had unto the said Grant doth and may more or at Large appeare Now this Indenture Further witnesseth that the said Henry Ward son and heir of the aboves.d Grantee for and in Consideration of three hund.d acres of Land Called Haydowne lying in Cecill County originally surveyed for and granted to Henry Downe late of the province afores.d Deced the Receipt of w.ch Land w.th title and possession he the said Henry acknowledgeth to have reced before the ensealling and delivery of these psent & therwith fully paid and satisfied and for the same hath Given Granted bargained sold alienated infeoffed & confirmed and by these psents doth give grant bargaine sell alienate infeoffe & confirme unto him the said Edward Parrish his heires and assignes for ever all that part of the afd Tract of Land called Mountserado lying within y.e following bounds containing and laid out for two hundred and fifty acres of Land be y.e same upon srict examination more or Less Begining at two Chesnutt oakes each marked w.th twelve notches standing by the River side by a Deep Gutler and Runing up the River north north west six degrees westerly one (hundred) |
