237 x.d This Indenture made this fourtheenth day of March in the 12.th yeare of her Majesties Reigne ^&c^ And in the yeare of our Lord one thousand seven hundred & thirteen Between Robert Bailey of Ann Arundell County in the province of Maryland planter of the one parte and Joseph Howard of Ann Arundell County in the province afd of the other parte Wittnesseth that the said Robert Bailey for and in consideration of the sume of forty five pounds currant mony of Maryland by Joseph Howard at and before the ensealing and Delivery of these presents well & truly paid and secured to be paid the receipt whereof he the said Robert doth hereby acknowledge and thereof & every parte and parcell thereof doth for himselfe his heirs ex.rs and adm.rs clearly and absolutely acquitt exonerate and forever discharge the said Joseph Howard his heirs Ex.rs and Adm.rs and assignes by these Presents Hath given granted bargained sold enffeofed and confirmed and by these presents he the said Robert Bailey doth for himselfe and his heirs give grant bargained sell alien enfeoff ^make over release^ & confirme unto the said Joseph Howard his heirs and assignes forever All that Tract or parcell of Land lying in Ann Arundell County on the south side of ^south river and on the west side of^ a creeke called Jacobs Creeke the same being by estimation one hundred acres it being the Moyety or one halfe of a parcell of land called Richneck Beginning att a marked red oake and running thence northwest seventy and five perches to a marked white ^oake^ standing at the head of a Valley in the Line of a parcele of Land formerly belonging to John Clark thence south west and by south forty & five perches to a marked white oake thence south ^east^ and by east three hundred and Twenty perches to a marked white ^beech^ oake thence standing by a cove by the side of Jacobs Creeke thence east to a marked oake standing by the mouth of another cove of sd creek thence north west & by west to the first mentioned red oake as alsoe all that Tract or parcell of Land Called Danbys hills Lying in Baltemore County near the head of Gunpowder back River Beginning at a bounded red oake standing in the woods neare to a branch called Winley ^branch^ being on the south side of the south fork of the said River and running thence west & by south two hundred ninety & five perches unto a bounded white oake thence south halfe a point westerly two hundred perches then east & by north two hundred ninety and two perches then with a straighline to the first bound tree conta and Laid out for three hundred fifty & three acres More or Less (both) |
