       every part thereof and also all the said severall Debts and
       likewise the said Vessell and the appurtenances afd were seized into
       her maj.tys Island by the said sher of Middx as by the said Extent
       and Inquisition inrolled upon record in her maj.tys said Court of
       Exchequer may appear By Vertue of which seizure in law
       the said Goods Vessell and debts are Vested in her maj.ty and y.e s.d
       Thomas Couts devested thereof And her maj.ty now stands in y.e
       place of the said Thomas Couts and is intituled to y.e same Remedy
       for recovery thereof as he y.e said Thomas Couts could have [illegible]
       had not the said seizure in law been made But in regard y.e s.d
       Debtors and persons afd in whose hands y.e s.d Goods are found to
       be are resident in parts beyond the seas out of the Jurisd.n of
       the Common laws of England   Now know yee that we
       the afd Commissioners of the Customes have and by these presents
       do for and on ^her maj.tys^ behalf make ordaine nominate constitute and
       appoint John Dansey Gentl Collector of the Customes at
       Patuxen in Maryland Phillip Lee and Peter Carmick of
       Maryland Merch.ts to be joyntly and severally the lawfull
       attorneys and agents of our sovereigne Lady the Queen for
       her maj.tys use and benefitt to ^ask^ sue for demand require
       Levy Recover and receive of and from the said Thomas Couts
       George Braxton John Baylor W.m Trent of John Fench W.m
       Wattts deced and of his ex.rs and adm.rs and Patrick Andrews
       and Bernard Townsend and of and from all and every
       other person or persons who have or shall have any of
       the estate goods or effects of the said Thomas Couts or who
       stand indebted or accountable to him in or for any sume
       or sums of money w.tsoever in any place or places beyond
       the seas all such estate goods and effects of the said Tho.s
       Couts and all such sume and sums of money due unto
       or accountable for to the Said Thomas Couts And wee
       the said Com.rs for and on her maj.tys behalf do give unto y.e
       said John Dansey Phillip Lee and Peter Carmick or to any
       two of them whereof the said John Dansey to be always
       one her maj.tys full power strength and authority in &
       about the premises or any p.t or parcell thereof the said
       Thomas Couts W.m Watts deced George Braxton John
