       of God of Great Brittaine France & Ireland Queen
       defender of the faith &c.a  Between Nicholas Sewall of S.t Maries
       County in the province of Maryland Gentleman of the one parte and
       John Hyde of Poplar in the County of Middx Merchant of the
       other parte   Wittnesseth that the s.d Nicholas Sewall for & in
       Consideration y.t the sume of five five shillings of Lawfull money
       of great Brittaine to him in hand well & truely paid by the said
       by the John Hyde at or before the Sealeing and Delivery of these p.rsents
       the receipt whereof the said Nicholas Sewall doth hereby
       Accknowledge & Thereof & of every parte & parcell thereof doth
       hereby acquit Release & Discharge the said John Hyde his heirs
       Ex.rs Adm.rs & assignes & every of them by these presents hath
       bargained & sold & by these presents doth bargaine & sell unto the
       Said John Hyde his & assignes all that peice or parcell of Land
       Called Poplar Ridge lying in Talbott County in the province of Maryland
       on a branch there Called Red Lyon Branch begining at a
       marked Pockhiccory tree standing by the side of the said Branch and
       running Downe the said branch North & by East two hundred and
       Fifty perches from thence west & by north three hundred & twenty
       perches then south & by East two hundred & fifty perches from
       thence East & by south Three hundred & twenty perches to the first
       Tree Containing & now laid out for five hundred acres be the same
       more or Less And alsoe althat Peice or parcell of Land Called
       Sewall Fork Lying in Talbott County afd on the Eastern side of y.e s.d
       Branch Called Red Lyon Branch beginning at a Marked
       white oake Standing by the s.d branch & running ^South^ up the
       branch Five hundred perches & from thence East Three hund.d
       & twenty perches & from thence North five hundred ^perches^ & from the
       end of the north Line West Three hundred & twenty perches
       to the first bound tree Containing & Laid out for one Thousand
                                                                                        acres
