       by the wi.thin named Richard Duckett & Charity his wife to be their own
       proper Act & Deed & the Land and premises therein Mentioned to be the
       right of the within Named Jacob Henderson his heirs and Assignes
       According to the true Intent & meaning of the said within Written
       Indnt.r according to act of Assembly In Testimoney whereof I have

       or Letter of Attorney   Bee it Knowne and Manifest
       unto all people Whome it Doth or May Concerne That on the
       fifth day of December Anno Dom 1713  And in the Twelfth
       yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lady Anne by the
       Grace of God of Great Brittaine France and Ireland Queene
       Defender of the Faith &c Before me Robert Tonens Notary
       Publick by Royall Authority Admitted and sworne Dwelling
       in London personally appeared Made Anne Millner late
       wife and administratrix to the Estate of M.r Wade Millner
       late of London Merchant Deced and Cap.t Peter Paggon of
       London Merchant unto me Notary well knowne and in the
       Presence of the underwritten Wittnesses such appearers
       have made ordained constituted and appointed as they [illegible]
       these presents make ordaine constitute and appoint M.r John
       Smith of the province of Maryland on the Continent of
       America Merchant To be their True and Lawfull attorney  
       for and in Their names and to the proper use and behoofe
       of them the Constituants To ask Demand sue for Levy
       Recover and Receive of and from all and every such person
       or persons in Maryland aforesaid or in Virginia all such
       sume and sumes of Money Debts Goods Wares Merchandizes
       Effects Estate and Things whatsoever Now Due owing or
       belonging to them or any or either of the Them Be the
       same Due or owing either by Bill bond book accounts
       Bill or Bills of Exchange Consignment or Consignm.ts of
       Goods or otherwise howsoever for what Cause or Reason
       soever the same may be nothing excepted nor Reserved with
       all Costs Damages and Interest and upon Recovery and
       Receipt thereof to Make and pass Due and sufficient
       acquittances and Discharges and if Needfull in the names
