204 affixed their seales the day and year first above Written Ezekiell Wrighte (seale) On the back of the aforegoeing Deed was thus endorst Viz.t Sealed and Delivered in the presents of Feb.ry y.e 2.d Anno Dm Sam.ll Young ThBordley Then Came before me Samuell Young Esq.r one of one of her Majesties Justices of the Provinciall ^Court^ of Maryland the within mentioned Ezekiell Wrighte and acknowledged the within Instrument as his Act and Deed According to act of Assembly Alsoe the same Day Came Dorothy the wife of the wife of the said Ezekiell Wrighte and was secretly examined by me out of the heareing of her said husband and did on such Examination declare that she did voluntarily and freely Consent to the execution of the w.thin de^e^d and to the passing of the Estate and Lands therein mentioned as is therein expressed and that she absolutely renounces and forever Disclaimes any right or title of Dower of in or unto the same lands and that she does the same freely without any Compultion or threats of her said Husband and not out of any fear of his Displeasure Sam.ll Young February the twenty second 1713 Recd for the alienation fine of the within Land the Quantity of one hundred forty and four pounds of Tobacco from the Reverend M.r Jacob Hynderson Charles Carroll recorded February y.e 25.th 1713 1140 |
