199 On the back of the aforegoing Deed was Endorst Viz.t January the fourteenth 1713 Then Came before me Samuel Young Esq one of her Majestys Justices of the prov.ll Court of Maryland the within mentioned Jacob Henderson and acknowledged the w.thin Instrument as his act & Deed according to Act of Assembly Also the same day came Mary y.e wife of the s.d Jacob & was secretly examined by me out of the heareing of her said husband and did on such examination did declare what that she did voluntarily & freely Consent to y.e execution of ^the^ within Deed and to the passing the Estate & Lands therein mentioned as is therein expressed and that she asolutely renounces & forever Disclaimes any Right or title whatsoever of in or unto the same lands and y.t she do the same freely without any Compulsion or threats of her said husband and not out of any feare of his Displeasure Samuel Young Feb.ry the 11.th 1713 Then reced of Cap.t recorded January y.e 21.st 1713 Ezekiel Wright the sume of one pound 827 four shil ster being the alienation fine of the six hundred acres w.thin menconed sume Cha Carroll This Indenture made the twenty ninth day of December Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and thirteen Between Abraham Clarke of Prince Georges County planter of the one part and Jacob Henderson of the same County Clerk of the other p.t Wittnesseth that the said Abraham for and in Consid.n of the sume of eight pounds sterling to him in hand paid the receipt whereof He doth hereby Acknowledge and thereof and of every part and parcell thereof doth fully clearly and absolutely Acquitt Exonerate and discharge the said Jacob his ex.rs and adm.rs firmly by these presents Hath given granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and confirmed and do by these presents give grant bargaine sell Aliene Enfeoffe and Confirme unto him the said Jacob Henderson his heirs and Assignes for ever all that Lot of Land in Queen Anns Town in Prince Georges County being numbered twenty seven which at the time of surveying and Laying out the same town Was reserved by (the) |
