176 x.d This Indenture made the fourteenth day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and thirteen Between John Courts of Charles County in the Province of Maryland Gent of the one part and Daniel Dullany of Prince Georges in the same province Gent of the other part Whereas the right honourable Charles Lord Prop.ry of the said province by his Pattent under his Greater Seale at Armes bearing date the fourteenth day of June Anno Dom sixteen hundred and eighty gave and granted unto Nicholas Buttram late of the County of Calvert in the sd province Planter deced all that tract or parcel of land lying on the east side of Patuxent river next adjoyning to the land of Henry Coursey Beginning at the said Courseys Northward most bound Called Beckett Pond and runing north and by east up the river for the length of one hundred and twenty perches unto a marked Oake bounded on the ???th with a line drawn east from the said Oake for the length of five hundred perches on the east with a line drawn south & by west from the end of the sd east line unto the sd Courseys land on the south with the said land on the west with the said river Containing four hundred acres more or less with all proffitts and Comodities thereunto belonging or appertaining (Royall mines Excepted) which tract or parcell of land descended to W.m Buttram son and heir at law of the said Nicholas Butram And Whereas the said William Butram by his last will and testament in wrighting |
