165) Parties have hereunto set their hand and Seal this day and year afd Hez Haynes (seal) Sealed and delivered in Psence of us Joseph Pratt John Young Att the foot of the aforegoing Deed was thus written Viz.t Annop.s Maryland 18.th March 1712 Then reced of the above mentioned Amos Garrett the sume of Sixty pounds sterl mony of Great Brittaine being the Consideracon of the above purchased land & Wittness my hand & Seal Hez Haynes (sea) Wittness Joseph Pratt John Young Maryland 18.th March 1712 Then Came the above menconed Hez Haynes before Sam.l Young Esq one of her maj.tys Justices of the Prov.l Court of Maryland and acknowledged the within deed and the land &c therein menconed to be y.e right of y.e above named Amos Garret his heirs and assignes for ever according to act of Assembly in that Case mentioned and provided Sam.l Young On the back of y.e aforegoing deed was thus endorst Viz.t Maryland May y.e 16.th 1713 Then reced of M.r Amos Garret the quantity of eighteen pounds of tob.o being y.e alienat.n fine for the within menconed Land Charles Carroll 18.ℓ tob.o 38 Recorded Sept.r 2.d 1713 x.d This Indenture made the Twenty ninth day of Aprill Anno Dm one thousand seven hundred and thirteen Between Philemon Hemsley of the Province of Maryland Gentl and Mary his wife formerly called Mary Contee one of the Devisees menconed in the last will and Testament of Phillip Lynes |
