155) x.d This Indenture made the thirteenth day of March in the twelfth Year of the reigne of our soveraigne Lady Queen Anne of Great Brittaine &c Annoq Dom one thousand seven hundred and twelve Between James Moore and Mary his wife formerly the daughter of W.m Roper of the one part of Prince Georges County and Hez.a Haynes of the province of Maryland Merch.t of the other part Wittnesseth that the said James Moore for and in Consideration of the sum of thirty pounds sterling mony of Great Brittaine to the said James Moore in hand paid by the said Hez.a Haynes before the ensealing & delivery hereof the receipt whereof the said James Moore doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and every part and parcel thereof doth hereby fully clearly and absolutely exonerate acquitt and discharge him y.e said Hez.a Haynes his heirs ex.rs and adm.rs Hath bargained sold aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed as by these presents he the said James Moore doth for himself and his heirs bargaine sell alien Enfeoffe and Confirm unto the said Hezekiah Haynes all and every the hereafter mentioned fourth of a tract of Land &c which a Certain Jervis Morgan late of Quee Annarundell County deceased Called Middle neck lying on the East Side of Chesepeake bay and on a river in the said bay Called Sasafrax river and on the north side of the river Begining at a marked white Oake standing on a point on the Easterne side of a Creeke Called Duck Creeke running from the s.d Oake up the river Easterly one hundred and fifty perches to a marked Pine Standing on a bank side by the mouth of a Creeke Called Jones's Creek running from the said Pine by a line drawn (North) |
