146 parties to this deed and did acknowledge the same and the land and premises within menconed to be the right of the within named Thomas Aldriss and the said Eliz.a being privately examined out of the heareing of her husband Gave her free Consent in barr of her dower &c before me Sam.l Young Justice of y.e prov.l Co.rt Aug.t y.e 10.th 1713 Then reced of y.e Convey.r recorded June y.e 25.th 1713 w.thin named Tho.s Aldriss the sume of four shill ster aturn.e record.d Aug.t y.e 10.th 1713 for y.e alien.a fine of the within land I say reced in y.e absence of Cha Carroll Esq.r by [illegible] 820 This Indenture made the twelfth day of June in y.e year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and thirteen Between W.m Clarke & Mary his wife of Annarund.l County in the province of Maryland planters of the one part and James Govan of the said County Merchant of the other part Wittnesseth that the said W.m and Mary for and in Consideration of the sume of five shillings sterling to them in hand paid by the said James the receipt whereof they doe hereby acknowledge Also for divers other weighty and Valluable Considerations them thereunto moveing have given Granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed Confirmed and made over as by these presents they the said W.m and Mary do for themselves and their heirs Give grant bargain sell alien enfeoffe confirm and make over unto the said James Govan his heirs and Assignes all their or either of their right title Interest property Claime & demand of in & to all & every tract or parcel of Land in y.e s.d province of what nature kind denomination or Quality soever that has descended to her the said Mary either by a descent Cast in law as heiress to James Homewood or any other of the Homewoods by her fathers side or that she is entituled to by Vertue of any bequest made by any of the said Homewoods or any other of that family and in as full & ample manner if each tract or parcel of Land ware perticularly mentioned set downe and expressed togeather w.th all and singular the Cultivations Conveniences improvem.ts and advantages on y.e said parcells or tracts of Land or to them or any of them belonging or in any ways appertaining in as full and ample (manner) |
