x.d This Indenture made the third day of Jan.ry in y.e
       year of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred and Tenn Between
       William Murfey of Baltemore County Planter and Elizabeth his wife
       of the one part and Thomas Aldriss of Annarundell County Cooper of
       the other part Wittnesseth that the said W.m and Eliz.a his wife for
       and in Consideration of the sum of fifteen pounds ster mony to them
       in hand well and truly paid and secured to be paid before the
       ensealing and delivery hereof the receipt of which they do hereby
       acknowledge and thereof and therefrom & of & from every part
       and Parcell thereof do hereby release acquitt exonerate and
       discharge the s.d Tho.s Aldriss his heirs ex.rs and adm.rs Hath
       given granted bargaind sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed
       and by these presents do give grant bargain sell enfeoffe and
       Confirme unto the said Thomas Aldriss his heirs and Assignes all
       that tract or parcel of land Called Murfeys Lott lying and being
       in Baltemore County on the west side of Curtis Creek and near the
       head of the said Creek Beginning at a bounded black walnutt and
       red Oake standing by the Creeke and runing thence west by north
       forty perches then north west forty perches to a pine w.th four
       Notches then south by west twenty perches thence west north west
       eighty perches thence south south west one hundred perches
       thence east south east One hundred and fifty six perches then
       w.th a direct Line to the first bound trees Containing and Laid
       out for one hundred acres of Land (as by a Certificate bearing
       date the 14 day Feb.ry 1708 referrance to the same being
       had will now Large appeare) Togeather with all and
       singular the houses buildings Cornfields fences woods Underwoods
       timber waters water Courses Way Passages Easements Comodities
       & appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any ways appertaining
       To have and To hold the af.d tract of Land and premises
       to him the said Thomas Aldriss his heirs and assignes for ever more
       to the only proper use and behoof of him the said Thomas
       Aldriss and to none other use Intent or purpose whatsoever
