                             Aprill the 10.th 1712

       Then Came Walter Felps before me one of her Maj.tys Justices of the
       prov.ll Court and did acknowledge the within Land & premises therein
       contained to be the right of the within named Charles Hammond his
       heires and assignes for ever   In Testimony whereof I have
       subscribed my name the day & year above written      Sam.ll Young

                      honourable Councill These are to Certifie that I persuant to an
       Ordinance of Assembly made and ordered the 15.th and 16.th day of May
       Anno Dom 1707 I have Carefully Surveyd and Laid out the Land formerly
       by Law Given to the Choptank Indian Viz.t Ababco Fequewason and
       Hard Swamp and the Indians under their governm.t and Charge according
       to the meets and bounds in the s.d Law ^given &^ Granted Viz.t Beginning at the
       mouth of Secretary Sewalls Creek and running up the said Creek south 42.d
so in y.e orig.l   east four hundred and eigty per her to a marked white oake standing at the
       head of the said Creek and from the said oak Running south five hund.d
       and tenn perches to another marked oak standing in the woods by y.e
       side of a Road that Leads from Edward Newtons to Maj.r Thomas Taylors
       from the Last specified oake runing west Thirty eight deg.s south one
       thousand seven hundred and forty perches to another marked white oake
       standing by the Road side that leeds from Yarmouth Town to the Town of
       Cambridge and from the said oak Running west 20.° north one thousand
       seventy five perches to another bounded white oake standing in a swamp
       and from the Last menconed oake runing north nine hundred and
       sixty perches to a marked Ceder tree standing by Great Choptank
                                                                                              (River)
