102 every of their appurtenances unto the said John Hyde his ex.rs and adm.rs and assignes from the day next before the day of the date of these presents for and dureing and unto the full end and term of one whole year from thence next ensueing and fully to be Compleat and Ended Yelding and Paying therefore unto the said Richard Smith his heires and assignes the rent of one Pepper Corn at the feast of S.t Michaell the Archangell now next Comeing if the same shall be Lawfully demanded To the Intent and purpose that the said John Hyde by Vertue hereof and of the statute for transferring of uses into possession may be in the actuall possession of the said tracts peices or parcells of Land and p.rmises with their and every of their appurtenances and be thereby enabled to take a grant release and Confirm.a of the reversion and Inheritance thereof to him and his heires for ever In Wittness whereof the said parties first above named to these presents their hands and seales Interchangably have sett the day & year first above written Rich.d Smith Jun.r (seale) On the back of y.e aforegoeing deed was thus Endorst Viz.t Sealed & Delivered (being first duly stampt according to act of Parliament in the Psence of Tho Birch Tho Dugdale enrold July y.e 24.th 1712 776 x.d This Indenture made the eighth day of January Anno Dom one thousand seven hundred and eleven and in the tenth year of the reigne of our sovereigne Lady Ann by the grace of God of Great Brittain France and Ireland Queen defender of the faith &c.a Between Richard Smith Jun.r of S.t Leonards in the province of Maryland in America Merch.t of the one part and John Hyde of Poplar in the County of Middlesex Merchant of the other part Wittnesseth that the said Richard Smith for and in Consideration of the sum of five hundred pounds of Good and Lawfull money of Great Brittain to him in hand paid by the s.d John Hyde at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof the said Rich.d Smith doth hereby acknowledge and thereof doth acquitt release and discharge the said Jn.o Hyde his heires ex.rs adm.rs and Assignes by these presents he the said Richard Smith hath granted bargained and sold aliened enfeoffed released and Confirmed And by these presents doth grant bargain and sell alien enfeoffe release & Confirm unto the said John Hyde (in his (actuall) |
