x.d  This Indenture made this Three and Twentieth
       Day of August in the year of our Lord one Thousand
       seven hundred and Eight Between Abraham Clarke
       of Prince Georges County Gentleman of the one part and
       Charles Carroll of the Citty of Annapolis in Ann Arundell
       County Gentleman of the other part  Wittnesseth
       that the said Abraham Clarke for and in Consideracon
       of the sume of one hundred pounds Currant and Lawfull
       mony of England to him in hand well & Truly (at or
       before the Sealing and Delivery of these Psents) paid
       by the said Charles the receipt whereof he the said
       Abraham doth hereby acknowledge and thereof and of Every
       part & Pcell thereof doth fully Clearly & absolutely
       Exonerate acquitt & Discharge him the said Charles Carroll
       his heirs and assignes for Ever  Hath given granted
       bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed as by these
       Presence he doth give grant bargain sell alien Enfeoffe
       and Confirm unto him the said Charles Carroll his heirs and
       assignes for Ever  All that three hundred acres of Land being
       part of a divident of Land of foure hundred acres Conveyed accrue
