       Durden the wife of Stephen Durden of Kings
       Creeke in Talbot County planter formerly the
       wife and relict of Tho.s Anderson late of Talbot
       County af.d Chirurgion send Greeting whereas my
       former husband Tho.s Anderson af.d by whom I had
       one Child called Sarah Anderson y.e onely Daughter
       and heir of the s.d Thomas by his Last will & Testam.t in
       writing did devise to me the said Rebecca his the s.d Thoms.s
       plantation and Land Called Jourdans Hill and the Addition
       for my life and after my death to his said Daughter &
       heir Sarah Anderson & y.t for preferm.t of the said Sarah
       in Marriage w.th Jn.o Carr of Talbott County Chyrurgeon
       I quitted my claime of in and to the said Land and
       plant.a and Delivered y.e letters pattents and
       evidences thereof to the s.d John and Sarah
       w.ch Sarah had one Child by the s.d John after
       Espousalls betwixt them celebrated w.ch chield
       is dead and y.e s.d Sarah is also dead & y.e s.d
       John is in quiett possession of the premises
