       The County af.d Esq of the other part  Wittnesseth y.t y.e
       s.d Tho.s Wells for and in Consideration of the full &
       Just Sume of fifty pounds of Lawfull money of England
       to him in hand p.d buy the s.d Tho.s Tench at an
       before the Ensealing and Delivery of these p.rsents
       the rec.t whereof he y.e s.d Tho.s Wells doth hereby
       acknowledge and himselfe to be therew.th fully satisfd
       and Paid and thereof and of every parte & pcell
       thereof doth hereby clearly acquitt release & discharge
       the s.d Tho.s Tench his heirs Ex.rs and ad.rs forever by
       these presents hath given granted aliened bargained
       Enfeoffed Sold and Confirmed and by these presents
       Doth fully freely clearly and absolutely Give grant
       aliene bargaine sell Enfeoffe and Confirme unto y.e
       s.d Tho.s Tench Esq all that Tract or pcell of Land
       called Ratle Snake neck scituate lying and being
       in Baltemore County on a Creek of Petapscoe
       river called the Rock Creeke Begining at a bounded
       oake by the s.d Creeke and runing west north west
       one hundred and foureteen p.s to a bounded oake
       then south west sixty p.s to another bounded oake
       then north north west one hundred ninety six p.s
       to a bounded oake then south west one hundred &
       sixty p.s then south south East to the said Creeke
       then bounding on y.e s.d Creeke to y.e first bounded tree
       Cont.a and Laid out for three hundred a of land
       more or less w.ch was formerly granted unto John
       Deavour of the aforesaid County as p pattent in the
       Land office at large appeare and afterwards by y.e
       said Deavour Conveyed to y.e s.d Ric.d Wells father of
       Tho.s Wells party to these presents  To hold to him and
       his heires and assis forever as p the Conveyance
       thereof relacon being thereto had it doth & may
       more fully and at Large appeare  Together also
       with all and singular the woods Trees underwoods
       now standing groweing or being in or being
