18 recognizances forfeitures or attainders of him the said Edw.d or by any other ways or means w.tsoever save onely the quitt rents hereafter to Grow due to y.e Right Hon.ble the Lord Propry and he y.e s.d Edw.d doth further for him and his heirs Coven.t & agree to and with him the s.d John & his heirs y.t he y.e s.d Edw.d is at the time of the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents seized of and in a sure perfect absolute and Indefeazable Estate of Inheritance in the premisses and also y.t he y.e s.d Edw.d shall & will now & at all times hereafter warr.t and forever Defend the same bargained premisses unto him the s.d John his heires and assis forever ag.t all manner of psons claimeing or to Claime any Right title interest or Demand w.tsoever to the s.d tract of Land or any pte thereof Provided allways and it is the true intent and meaning of these presents y.t whereas the s.d Edw.d stands Justly Indebted unto the s.d John Taylor in the sume of fifty pounds ster if therefore y.e s.d Edw.d shall at or before the twenty sixth day of Aprill w.ch shall be in the yeare of our Lord 1709 pay or Cause to be paid unto the said above named John the Just and full sume of Tenn pounds ster by good & sufficient Bills of Exchange to be drawne upon some Responsible merch.t in London w.ch shall be duely accepted and paid according to the tenor thereof as also at or before the twenty sixth day of Aprill w.ch shall be in the yeare of our Lord God one thousand seven hundred & tenn pay in like manner and by the like bills the Just and full sume of forty pounds ster with Legall Interest as well for the same as the s.d sume of tenn pounds that then this Deed & all the articles clauses & Covenants therein Contained (are) |
