       he Doth for him and his heirs Give Grant Bargaine
       Sell alliene enfeoff and Confirme unto him the said
       John all y.t Tract or pcell of Land Called Carters Rest being
       parte of two tracts of Land the one Cont.a one thousand a
       and the other five hundred a of Land both called
       Espectacon lying in Baltemore County and upon the head
       of a River called Gunpowder River & upon the south
       side of the north Branch of the s.d River Begining
       at a bound hiccory a bound tree of the Land called Leafs
       Forrest and runing thence parralell with y.e s.d Land
       north foure hundred p.d to a bound Poplar standing in a
       valley and runeing north East and by East parralell
       with the Land called Francis Freedome to the af.d Branch
       then Runing downe y.e s.d Branch South East halfe
       a point southerly till it intersect the Land called James
       Forrest then runing by a Direct Line bounded on y.e s.d
       Land to y.e first tree Containeing and Laid out for five
       hundred a of Land more or Less together w.th all rights
       members and appurtenances to the same Belonging
       or in any wise appertaineing and also all woods
       underwoods Gardens orchards Barnes stables standing
       and being upon the same premisses or any parte
       or pcell thereof  To have and to hold the same Bargained
       premisses and Every of their appurtenances
       as af.d unto him the s.d John Taylor his heirs & assis
       forever to and for the onely proper use & behoofe of
       him the s.d John and his heirs and to noe other use
       intent meaning purpose or construccon w.tsoever
       and he the said Edward doth For him and his heirs
       covenant Promise grant and agree to and w.th him
       the said John and his heirs that the af.d bargained
       premisses and Every of them are at the time of
       the Ensealing and Delivery of these presents clear
       and free of and From all and all manner of
       former grants bargaines sayles or any other
       Incumbrance w.tsoever whether by statutes Judgm.ts
