109 Richard Kirkland late of Baltemore County planter dec Constitute appoint and ordaine my friend John Jones of Baltemore County planter my true and Lawfull attur for me and in my name to make over unto George Valentine Two Certaine Tracts of Land the one Called bold Venture Containing two hundred acr in Annard.ll Co.ty the other Girles portion scituate and being in Baltemore County adjoyning to a Tract of Land of the aboves.d Jones's & Cont.a one hundred a more or Less with all the apputts thereunto belonging to both Tracts and Likewise I Mary Kirkland do by those Psents acquitt & discharge the s.d Valentine for and from any right of Dower have or ought to have By Vertue of my being the Lawfull wife of y.e aboves.d Rich.d Kirkland Ratifieing and Confirming all and singular w.ttsoever our s.d Atturney shall do or Cause to be done in or about the Pmises as the s.d Valentine shall Require as the Law directs in such Cases as fully Amply and absolutely as if I & my Wife was Psent & did it ourselves & further I do Impower you John Jones to take in all papers relateing to me that now is in y.e possession of George Valentine Concerning the aboves.d Land as also the protested bill of Exch.a for which the said Valentine has this Two Tracts of Land In Wittness whereof we have hereunto sett our hands and seales this Eleventh day of Octob.r 1708 signd Signed Sealed & dd in the Rich.d R Kirkland (sea) Psence of us Mary M Kirkland (sea) Mark of Rich.d N Nelson signd 988 Joseph Hasloopp 15½ sides This Indenture Tripartit (made) |
