hereof at the reasonable request Cost & Charges in the law of the said William Baker his heires or Assigns do make acknowledge Execute & Suffer ^and cause & procure to be made acknowledged & Excepted and suffered all & every such further & other lawfull & reasonable Act & Acts thing and things Assurance and Assurances in the law whatsoever for^ the further and better assurances surety & suremaking & Conveying of all the said gated premisses with the appurts or any part or parcell thereof unto him the said W.m Baker his heires & Assigns or his or their Councill learned in the law shall be reasonably devised advised or required and it is mutually agreed and Concluded by and between the partys to these p.rsents that all and every such further & other assurance to be made as aforesaid of the said granted p.rmisses or any part thereof is meant & intended to be & shall be to the only use & behoof of the said W.m Baker his heires & Assigns for ever and to no other use Intent or purpose whatsoever In Witness whereof the partys above mencond have hereunto sett their hands & seals the day & year above written signd seald & delivered Nathaniel Stenichcomb (Seal) in the presence of her Edward Dorsey Hannah + Stinchcomb (Seal) Tho.s Hamond Mark The foregoing Deed is thus Endorsed viz.t Memorandum That the within Indenture with the land & p.rmisses therein mencond was before us Edward Dorsey and Thomas Hamond two of her Ma.tys Justices of the peace for the County of Baltemore the thirty day of June A.o Dm 1704 & acknowledgd by the within named Nathaniel Stinchcomb to be the proper right of the within mencond W.m Baker his heires & Assigns for ever according to the forme force Effect true Intent & meaning of the same Indenture & at the Same day and time came Hannah the wife of the said Nathaniel Stinchcomb and she being Secretly Exaid out of the hearing of her husband according to Act of Assembly in that Case made & provided did fully Clearly & Voluntarily Confess that she did give up all her right title Dowerry Claime & Demand whatsoever of the within bargaind p.rmisses without any threats of her said Husband In testimony whereof we have hereunto subscribed our Names the day & year above Written recd of W.m Baker the sume of four shils ster it being Edward Dorsey for the Alienation of One hundred acres of Land called being part of the Tanyard I say recd by the Tho Hamond ord.r of M.r James Heath P me Jn.o Hall |
