802 fourth day of December in the third year of our reign &c Annoq Dm seventeen hundred and four Witness our trusty and well beloved John Seymour Esq our Captain Generall and Governo.r in Chief in and over our said province of Maryland (Great) John (Seale of ) Seymour Enrolled Dec.r 22.d (Maryland) 1704 Maryland fs Know all Men by these presents that Wee Aquila paca James philips & Thomas of the Bale of the County of Baltemore in the province aforesaid Gent are holden and firmly bound unto our sovereign Lady Queen Ann in the full and Just Quantity of two hundred thousand pounds of good sound Merchantable leaf Tobacco & Casq to be payd to her sd Majesty her heires and successors to the which payment well and truly to be payd wee bind our selves and either of us our & either of our heires Ex.rs and Adm.rs Joyntly and severally for the whole and in the whole firmly by these presents as Witness our hands & seals the day of June in the third Year of her Majestys reign &c Annoq Dm 1704 The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the above bound Aquila paca do well and truly serve her said Majesty her heirs and successors in the office of High Sheriff |
