781 The foregoing Deed was thus Endorst viz.t May y.e 13.th 1704 Then Came John Ewings of Baltemore County before us being Justices of the provincial Court of the province of Maryland & by vertue of a Letter of Attorny signd by the within named John Anderson to that purpose acknowledged the within deed to be the Act & Deed of the said Anderson according to Act of Assembly in the Case made & provided Enrolled June 8.th 1704 Phill Hoskins Seth Biggs The Deposition of Thomas pattison of Dorchester County aged about thirty two years being examined & sworne saith that he went to Ann pattison who was the Ex.rx of Thomas pattison decd & asked her where ^y.e Land^ of George Sewards was who told him that then he need not inquire after that warrant for it was burnt & further saith not Tho pattison The above Dep.o made in the prov.l Court & sworne to Test Th Bordley Clk The Dep.o of William Willoughby of Dorchester County age about eighty years being exaid & sworne saith that about twenty nine or thirty Years past he was at Annapolis puttuxent at mattapany & there working with Geo Seward for the Lord Baltemore that the Lord Baltemore did then Grant unto the said George Seward a war.t for one thousand Acres of Land And the said George Seward had payd the Lord Baltemore in (work |
