778 The foregoing Lre of Attorny was endorsd as follows Maryland Annapolis Aug.t 18.th 1703 Then Came before us of her Ma.tys hon.ble Councill John Flour one of the Evidences to the within Letter of Attorny & made oath that he saw the same signd seald & executed in due forme to the use within mencond W.m Holland James Sanders This Indenture made the twelfth day of May in the fourteenth year of our Soveraign Lord William by the Grace of God of England Scotland France & Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c Anno Dm 1702 Between John Anderson of the County of Dorsett in the province of Maryland planter of the one part & John Howard of Ann Arundell Co.ty in the province afd planter of the other part Witnesseth that the said John Anderson for & in Consideration of the sume of thirty pounds sterl & one thousand six hundred thirty & two pounds of Tobacco to him in hand paid at & before the Ensealing & Delivery hereof the Receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledged & thereof acquitt & Discharge the said John Howard & for good Causes & Considerations him there to moving hath Given Granted Bargaind Sold aliened Enfeoffd & & Confirmd & doth by these presents give Grant alien bargain sell enfeoff & Confirm unto the said John Howard his heires & assigns to the only pper use & behoofe of the said John (Howard |
