       This Indenture made the
       Tenth day of september in the Twenty
       third yeare of the Dominion of the right
       hon.ble Charles absolute Lord and propriatary
       of the province of Maryland and avalon
       Lord barron of Baltemore &ct and in the
       year of our Lord God one thousand six hundred
       Ninty Eight  Between Robert
       Carvile of S.t Maryes County in the province
       of Maryland Gent of the one parte and
       Henry Ridley sen.r of the County of
       Annarund.ll in the said province Merch.t
       of the other parte wittnesseth that
       whereas my Lord Baltemore by Deed of
       Grant under his Great seale used in the
       said province for granting of Lands there bearing
       date the Tenth day of August in the Eight
       year of his Lordshipps Dominnion and in the
       year of our Lord 1683 Did for the Consideration
       therein menconed grant unto the said Robert
       Carvile by the name of the said Robert Carvile
       of S.t Maryes and to his his heires all that peace
       parcell or tract of land Called or Knowne
       by the name of Catton scituate lyeing and
       being in Calvert County (now prince Georges
       County) one mile from the west side of the
       North branch of petuxen River begining
       at a bounded Oake being a bounded tree of the
       land of Jn.o Llewellin Gent standing in the
       line of a parcell of land formerly laid out for
       John Howerton Called Howertons range and
       runing with the line of the said land North
       North west one hundred perches to the land
       formerly laid out for Rober wilson Gent then
