665 Sealed and Delivered in the presence of us W.m Parker On the back side Jn.o Leach of the afd deed was Endorst (viz.t) Memorand.m That the Thirteenth day of June One thousand seaven hundred and Two Came before us the within named James pascall and acknowledged the within written deed of Release to be his act and deed and the parcell of Land and premisses therein menconed to be the right of the within named Edward Reynolds his heires and assignes for Ever and at the same time Eliz.a the wife of the said James pascall being by us secretly Examined out of the hearing of her husband did declare that she did Freely and voluntarily Give up all her right title and interest of in or to the within named Menconed Lands and premisses without being thereunto induced by fear threats or Displeasure of her said husband In testimony whereof wee W.m Parker and Jn.o Leach Justices of Calvert County Court have sett our names dated the day and year above written Annoq.r Dn 1702 Jan.ry 12.th 1702 W.m Parker Then reced of Edward Reynolds y.e Jn.o Leach sume of five shillings sterling for alienacon of y.e within Menconed land (old rents) I say reced for y.e use of M.r Rich.d Bennitt & M.r James Heath I say reced P me W Taylard |
