       at a County Court held for Annarund.ll County
       at the Towne and porte of Annapolis the Twelfth
       day of Janu.ry 1702/3 before her Maj.ties Justices
       thereto assignes Came Jn.o Hammond and W.m
       Hammond Gent and pursuant to a Certaine
       Lett.r of att.ry (made the seventh day of
       October Annoq.r Dn 1701 by Robert Miles
       of the County of Middx in the Kingdome
       of England Rope Maker Constituteing and
       appointing the said John and W.m
       Hamond his true and lawfull att.rys Joyntly
       or severally to acknowledge a Certaine Tract
       of Land by the said Miles Granted and sold
       to M.r Jn.o Brice of Annarund.ll County
       Merchant did acknowledge the within
       Conveyance soe farr forth as by the said
       Lett.r of att.ry remaining upon Record in the
       prov.ll Court they are thereby lawfully
       Empowered and authorizd thereunto

       The within Deed acknowledged in open
       Court by the said W.m Hamond and John
       Hammond the day and year abovesaid
